A creative nonfiction novel tracing three Black women's experiences of motherhood across generations—from the antebellum South to the present day. Blending prose and original poetry, the book examines how survival patterns transmit through family lines and what it takes to break them.

This work draws on the author's family history and research into generational trauma, Black American motherhood, and ancestral healing practices.
